Hello Everyone,

Well, you have heard some about all the places we have gone, so I am going to be original and tell you about W.D.C.’s toilets. The best one so far is a white, highly polished, ergonomic American toilet. To reach this facinating toilet and to enjoy it, you would have to go to Ford’s Theater. The other one is here in the hotel, the water in it is so hot, that condensation collects on the seat. Is that cool or what? Anyway, talk to y’all later.

Today we went to Shear Madness (well part of it). We got there late and so we didn’t get to see the beginning. It was so funny!!! All of the actors and actresses were perfect. I was getting used to the walking so it didn’t hurt so much walking a lot. Of course, it was on the last day. Tomorrow we are going to Williamsburg. It is going to be awesome.

Today we went to the Washington Memorial. It is very tall and it is scary up in the top. When we got up in the elevator the National Parks Service Lady said that it is held together by just gravity. So there was not anything holding each part of stone together. Then we went to the play Shear Madness. It was very funny. Here is one line from the play “The scissors were cheap. I got them at Kmartlike— where you got your hat.” Tonight we are packing to leave and go to Williamsburg. Then, we will spend two days at Williamsburg. Then we will stay the night in Baltimore then we will fly the next day home.

Yesterday we were not able to get on the computer so today we are going to write. Yesterday we went back to The Library of Congress and looked more at the library. Then we went to Congressman Walden’s office and we got a tour of the Capitol. After that we took a tour of Ford’s Theater and a man talked to us more about the theater and the assasination of  President Lincoln. Then we went to Hard Rock Cafe and back to Ford’s Theater for the play Little Shop Of Horrors– a musical.

PostHeaderIcon You are so beautiful to me cant you see!

We went back to The Library of Congress because we just looked at the rare books so we didn’t get to see much of the building. We didnt have a lot planed for today so today was a great day to go back to The Library of Congress. Lots of the buildings here in D.C. have wonderful details and they are beautiful.

PostHeaderIcon Corbin’s Day

The day was awesome. We went to the Holocaust, which was my highlight. The exhibits were very moving. I have never really grasped what the Nazis did, but the little time that we spent there was very moving. After that we ate at the ESPN Zone.     Hope everything at home is still going good.

PostHeaderIcon WOW!!!

Today we went to The Holocaust Museum. It was an amazing experience, but it was so intense. There were some unbelievable pictures and videos. Most of them I had a hard time watching. It’s hard to believe that people actually did that to other people and that the people went through that. The exhibits were so real and so amazing that it makes you sick to your stomach. Well it’s kind-of hard for me to write this so I’m going to stop, but it was so awesome.

PostHeaderIcon YESTERDAY IN DETAIL FOR REAL

Yesterday when we went to the White House we saw the Green Room, Blue Room, and Red Room. Then we went and saw the State Dinning Room at the White House. Then we went into the hallway and we asked a guard what was down the hall because there was a barrier and the guard said that the Family was in there and the barrier was there to give the Family more privacy. Then we went out of the hall and up the stairs there was a great big piano and it had gold paintings on the side.
